Pro Pet Grooming Program

This course offering from Meg's Paw Spa is geared towards ambitious individuals seeking a career in the pet grooming industry. Students will learn basic grooming techniques including how to fully groom and clip pets. Students will also learn scissoring, nail clipping, bathing, brushing, blow-drying, sanitary trimmings of dogs and cats. Additionally, students will be provided use of salon equipment during this 3-week program.

Are you seeking a career in the pet grooming industry? This three-part course will prepare you for an excitingly fast-paced career where you deal with cats and dogs all day.

  • Students will build a professional, pet grooming portfolio as they go
  • Learn advanced grooming techniques such as scissoring, bathing, nail clipping, blow-drying, brushing, feet, face and sanitary trimming
  • Gain valuable experience with live pet clients!
  • Pet Grooming textbook is included!

Course Information, Schedule & Fees

$ 1800
$500 deposit due upon registration
  • Grooming 101: For Pet Parents Learn how to groom your own pet and save time, money and keep your pet looking and smelling great.
    • Students receive a Pet Grooming 101 Certificate of Completion
    • Learn valuable grooming skills to clean and tidy your pets
    • Use of salon-provided equipment

    This course duration is 6 sessions and is scheduled to run every other Friday from 5-8pm.

  • Pro Pet Grooming Program Are you seeking a career in the pet grooming industry? This two-part course will prepare you for an excitingly fast-paced career where you deal with cats and dogs all day.
    • Students receive a Pro Pet Groomer Diploma
    • Learn advanced grooming techniques such as scissoring, bathing, nail clipping, blow-drying, brushing, feet, face and sanitary trimming
    • Gain valuable experience with live pet clients!

    This course duration is 6 weeks in length and is scheduled to run Wednesday to Friday from 12-4 pm.
